Maison Margiela launches Fusion low-top sneakers

Maison Margiela officially unveils the latest version of its Fusion Low sneakers in a vibrant color called “Bubblegum Mix”. The deconstructed sneakers are marked with a maximalist look on the outer edges of the design in addition to the mashup details seen throughout. The main specs include some super glue that seems to run the length of the shoe, paired with duct tape accents.

Additionally, the sneakers feature a look that appears to be ripped off and reattached with cracked paint and scuff marks. Significant coloration seen throughout the model includes pink, which is visible on the gum-like material on the midsole. Carbon fiber panels that respond to the lacing system are also arriving, this part covers the white leather upper. Pink also makes another appearance on the outer cage, this section also has various deconstructed attachments. Finally, the model comes with an asymmetrical lacing system that sits between the carbon fiber panels and the leather eyelets.
