Kerwin Frost is back with a new Adidas collection perfect for those childhood nostalgia moments. After the hype around his Adidas “Superstuffed” sneakers last August, Frost is back with a sneaker and apparel collection that emphasizes whimsy and comfort.
Frost reinvents two classic Adidas Originals, the Forum High and the Forum Low. The Forum High features a blue and white colourway and incorporates a lace jewel in the shape of a nose molded in TPU, a silicone mouth with teeth on the bumper and the Kerwin Frost branding on the ankle strap which also has small eyes that frame the mark in the middle.
For the Forum Low, the shoes have a light mint, bright blue and solar yellow colourway that is effervescent and eye-catching. They feature a set of whimsical cartoon characters.
Other pieces in the collection include oversized t-shirts, denim shorts, fluffy jackets and a Chile tracksuit. Some of these pieces also feature colorful and wacky animal figures.
“Creating this collection with Adidas has been a dream since I was a child. Product design and deployment planning has been a wild ride – it’s so crazy that it’s finally going to exist in the world, ”said Frost. “I hope people are excited when they see the pieces, and it makes them feel something. My main message is not to be afraid to try new things and put your thoughts on paper and especially not to worry about what people think. “
The first Adidas Originals by Kerwin Frost collection will be available worldwide on November 17 and available for purchase through confirmed and selected resellers.
